Who we are

Monks by Monastic is the education arm of Monastic Media. Both are run by ECOMFIRST VENTURES (GSTIN 24DIFPP5850R1ZI), registered at 401, 4th Floor, Kalp Business Center, Citylight, Surat 395007, Gujarat, India. In these policies "we", "us" and "Monks by Monastic" mean ECOMFIRST VENTURES, trading as Monks by Monastic.

By using monksbymonastic.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

What this website is

This website tells you about Monks by Monastic and its programme, the D2C Marketing Practitioner. It is information, not an offer you can accept on the website. Nothing is sold or charged on this website.

The counselling call

The counselling call is free, for people 18 or older, and does not commit you to anything. You can reschedule or cancel it with the links in your confirmation e-mail.

Joining the programme

Batch dates, format, fees, payment terms, refunds and conduct rules are given to you in writing before you commit. You join only by accepting a written enrolment agreement. If anything on this website differs from your enrolment agreement, your enrolment agreement applies.

No job or income guarantee

We teach skills through real work and support placement through referrals into Monastic Media and our agency network when your work meets the standard. We do not guarantee a job, an internship, clients or any level of income. See the Disclaimer.

Content and intellectual property

The website, the course material, lessons, videos, templates and the Monks by Monastic and Monastic Media names and logos belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may view and share links to the website. You may not copy, sell or republish course material without our written permission. Work you make in the programme stays yours, except client material, which stays the client's.

Using the website and the student area

  • Use the website lawfully and do not try to break, overload or get around its security.
  • Keep your student-area sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Do not upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you do not have the right to share.

Links to other services

The website links to services we do not run, such as TidyCal, Google Meet, Facebook and LinkedIn. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

Our responsibility

We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that cannot be limited.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction, without limiting your right to approach a consumer commission.

Complaints

Please raise any complaint with our Grievance Officer first. See Grievance redressal.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
